 INTERNATIONAL PREMIERE

 “Wo
od is the material of the future.” Keeping this in mind\, architect Oiha
ne Ruiz and landscaper Ane Barrutia explore the life cycle of wood in thei
r native Basque Country\, from forest to industry. They are searching for
answers to an urgent question: what kind of forest will we leave for futur
e generations? Confronted with a crisis-stricken model\, they consult expe
rts\, workers\, researchers and activists\, fostering a dialogue on the co
nnections between our origins\, our collective memory and the necessity of
envisioning alternative approaches to inhabiting the landscape.
