rina Garcia AndreuINTERNATIONAL PREMIEREIn a remote village in Yunnan\, on
the border with Tibet\, an elderly man and his family live as guardians o
f the mountain. The documentary explores a way of life where the spiritual
and the earthly coexist in a delicate balance. In the intimacy of their e
veryday gestures\, a profound sensitivity towards nature emerges – natur
e understood not as a resource\, but as an inseparable part of existence i
tself. It is a world that still endures\, but whose future remains uncerta
in as generational differences begin to come to the fore.EMBERSCanada\, 24
