Jerónimo López’s return to the same valley in Nepal, 50 years after he first visited it to climb Manaslu, the first of the fourteen eight-thousanders to be scaled by Spaniards. A comparison of the expeditions of the 1970s with that undertaken in 2025 provides an opportunity to discuss the changes that have taken place in mountaineering in the Himalayas. The documentary, dedicated to the memory of Carlos Suárez, showcases the grandeur of nature alongside commentary on the geological and ecological features of the Himalayas, as well as on the effects of climate change and its associated risks.
