VENT DEBOUT! PATRICE DE BELLEFON, ITINÉRAIRE D'UN GUIDE ENGAGÉ

France, 66 min

Director: Laurence Fleury

EUSKADI PREMIERE

An undisputed figure in Pyrenean mountaineering, Patrice de Bellefon first made a name for himself in the 1960s through his exploits, his outbursts, and his book Les 100 plus belles courses dans les Pyrénées. Whilst never renouncing the mountaineering and conquest-driven ethos of his youth, he gradually distanced himself from it to focus more on the people and valleys of the Pyrenees. This film traces the career of this mountaineer who, at the age of 87, continues to write, publish, paint, speak out and scale peaks with an incredible zest for life.
