The next edition of the international mountain, adventure and extreme sports film festival will be held in Bilbao from the 9th to the 18th of December 2016. The deadline to receive the films that will take part in the competition is on the 30th of September.
Bilbao Mendi Film Festival, the international festival about mountain, adventure and extreme sports, has opened the registration period for those films that want to participate in the official section of its 8th edition, which will be held in Bilbao from the 9th to 18th of December 2016.
The festival will accept, until the 30th of September, any audiovisual work in which the plot is developed or related to the mountain: adventure, mountain and extreme sports that go from mountaineering and climbing to skiing or snowboarding, ecology, environment, ethnography...
Only productions made from the 1st of January 2014 onwards will be able to compete. Every film received will be studied by the Pre-selection Committee of the Bilbao Mendi Film Festival. For registration and documentation proceedings click here.
