The director Henna Taylor and main character of "An Accidental Life" Quinn Brett at the photocall of the BBK Mendi Film Bilbao Bizkaia
The film "An Accidental Life" has won the Grand Prize of BBK Mendi Film Bilbao Bizkaia. Directed by Henna Taylor, the film revolves around the life of Quinn Brett, a climber who on October 11, 2017 suffered a traumatic accident while climbing in El Capitan, Yosemite. Both, Henna Taylor and Quinn Brett, have been in Bilbao these past days, presenting the film, and in addition to the verdict of the Jury, they have received the warmth and recognition of the spectators of the Mendi Film.

The film submission period is open
The registration period for film entries for the 15th edition of BBK Mendi Film Bilbao Bizkaia is open until September 15th. Many interesting films have already been registered since the opening was announced in April, both through the festival's own platform and through the multi-submission form of the IAMF-International Alliance for Mountain Film.
