Jarosław Surmacz is one of the discoverers of the Harda cave up in the Polish Tatra mountains. Harda means ‘tough’ when translated from the Polish tongue, a true description of its traits and of the way through it, which requires one to be ice-like, strong and brave to face it. Surmacz finds the attraction to getting lost amid the depths of Harda irresistible.
