Climbing topos since time immemorial, have been, the way to share information between climbers. An essential companion of the written account, they have undergone the technological evolution, going from pencil and paper to the tools of the digital era. Like any other artwork, they are tethered to the subjectivity of the author and, therefore, to the incorporation of artistic resources that enrich them, taking this functional or practical instrument to a different status, in which a space for emotionality is opened up. “Art in climbing topos” is the book that highlights the value of the climbing topos as an artistic manifestation.
