Itziar is a creative producer, specialised in documentaries. For 12 years, she has been the Production Director of Arena Comunicación, in feature films such as ‘Pura Vida,’ ‘Muros’ or ‘Ride Your Dream,’ which have led her to shoot in nearly thirty countries. One of her last films, ‘Cholitas,’ was premiered at BBK Mendi Film Bilbao-Bizkaia and won prizes at numerous IAMF festivals. She also accompanied Edurne Pasaban on her expedition to Everest, to shoot the series ‘Desafío 14+1’ (TVE). She is in charge of the distribution plan of Arena's documentaries, all of which have been widely broadcasted in cinemas, festivals and on international television.
Iwona is a Cultural Manager. For 11 years, she has been the Coordinator of Literature, Music and Sports Projects at the Polish Cultural Institute in Madrid, an entity dependent on the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Its aim is to strengthen existing contacts and encourage the establishment of new international liaisons between creators and cultural institutions, between Poland and Spain, and to disseminate Polish culture in Spain too. This organisation has also promoted the candidacy of the Polish Himalayan mountaineer, Krzysztof Wielicki, for the Princess of Asturias Award for Sports 2018.
A film director and screenwriter, Asier’s most recent work was the documentary film ‘Arzak since 1897.’ In his early days as a filmmaker, during the ‘90s, he made successful short films such as ‘Txotx’ and ‘40 ezetz.’ His first feature film was ‘Aupa Etxebeste!’ in 2005. In total, he has directed 7 short films and 5 feature films throughout his filmmaking career. He has extensive experience in television series and programmes.
Paula composes soundtracks for film, television, theatre, dance and video games. She is passionate about astronomy and interested in the research of sounds of the universe, and in 2017 she composed and recorded ‘Child of the Universe,’ based on images taken by the Hubble Telescope for the European Space Agency (ESA). She is the composer of the soundtracks for the feature films ‘Nora,’ ‘Crónica de una Tormenta’ and ‘2 Urte 4 Hilabete eta egun bat,’ among others. She has also worked in the films 'La Trinchera Infinita,' 'Handia' and 'Dantza.'
He is studying audio-visual media at the ‘Escuela Superior Politécnica del TecnoCampus’, which pertains to the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Mataró, Barcelona. He is a photography, skiing, climbing, diving and ultra-light aircraft piloting buff. He has collaborated with BBK Mendi Film Bilbao-Bizkaia, and he has participated in the organisation of the Copa Regil ski mountaineering event in Picos de Europa and in numerous days of reforestation with native species within the territory of Biscay.
