A Sherpa family breaks a taboo and takes part in the expedition to Kumbhakarna (Jannu), the most sacred mountain, to earn money to pay for their son's schooling and separate him from what is traditional for him. They accompany three world-class mountaineers: Marcin Tomaszewski, Dmitry Golovchenko and Sergey Nilov, a western expedition on the east side of the mountain, a face that has never been climbed before. Will the gods of Kumbhakarna forgive these people for their insolence?
