The community of Kumari is located in a deep rural area of Nepal. In it, Jagat Lama, guided by a promise he made to his dying father, promotes a social enterprise of trekking guides that transforms the community. They manage to build a school, a hospital, a women's centre, a community farm... But two years later the earthquake that struck Nepal wiped out almost everything, except for the firm conviction of Jagat and his fellow guides for the village to rebuild itself and continue its self-sufficient growth and empowerment.
